Frequently asked questions
Privacy, consent, timing, cost of effort, and who owns the finished story.
The questions we hear most, answered plainly. If yours is not here, write to us and a real person will reply.
How it works
Who actually does the interview?
We do. The Good Work Club team runs the whole thing over a short, friendly video call, then writes it up. You do not sit in or run anything.
How much of my time does this take?
About two minutes. You make one introduction by putting a customer forward, and we handle the rest: the invite, the scheduling, the interview, and the writing.
How long is the call for my customer?
Around fifteen minutes. It is a relaxed chat about their experience, not a formal interview. They can pick a time that suits them or propose their own.
Consent and privacy
Do I need to ask my customer before I add them?
No. Nothing reaches your customer until you send the invitation, and we always confirm the customer is happy to share before anything is written up or published.
What if a customer puts their name forward and I would rather not proceed?
You are in control. Every submission through your share link waits in Waiting for your okay. You can send it to us or set it aside with Not now, and nothing happens until you do. See Review and approve submissions.
Is anything ever published without consent?
Never. The customer agrees to share their story, and you approve what goes forward. Two okays, every time.
The finished story
Who owns the story once it is done?
You do. Everything we hand back is yours to use anywhere: your website, proposals, social, and email.
What exactly do I get back?
A named, written story, pull quotes ready to post, the interview recording, a full transcript, and any photos the customer added. See Track progress and use your story.
Will the customer pages look like my brand?
Yes. Add your logo, colour, and contact email in branding, and every page your customer sees is co-branded as yours, alongside "with The Good Work Club".
How will I know when a story is ready?
We email you, and a View story button appears on that customer's row in your dashboard.
